After months of cold, dreariness and lack of color spring is always an exciting time of newal of life.
If you enter into our housing addition during the spring you will find a beautiful, beautiful sight. Years ago the developer placed a center island between two streets and planted 30 or so Bradford Pear trees.
I’m not a big Bradford Pear tree fan most of the time. However, if you drive by in the next few weeks you can see the trees covered with bursting brilliant white blooms. Each year when I see the trees bursting with white it reminds me of the newness of spring. It also makes me wonder about what heaven must be like.
If we live in a fallen world, and we do, then can you imagine what heaven must look like with it’s 100% purity!!
Revelation 22:2 talks about the leaves found on the tree of life bringing healing to the nations. I’m anxious to see what those leaves look like. In the meantime God gives us little bits of beauty of this world as a taste of the good things to come. Let me encourage you to enjoy the beauty of spring. The best is yet to come!
Can’t wait to see you Sunday!
