About Us

When you are able to find our building feel free to park in the visitor parking area directly in front of the main entrance. If there are no visitor parking slots available our main parking lot is directly across the street. When you come in the main entrance you will be greeted by one of our highly trained door greeters who will offer you a warm hand shake, a “good morning” and a copy of our Sunday sheet. The Sunday sheet contains information about upcoming events and details about the ministries at Emmanuel. If you have any questions about classes or childcare, the door greeter can direct you as to where to go.

If you are able to arrive before 9:30 for one of our small group bible studies, there is fresh brewed coffee and plenty of morning banter in the gym. We have a variety of small group bible studies that meet on Sunday morning for you to experience in depth bible study. Most groups will also have a time of prayer to lift up each other’s needs and burdens.

Our worship celebration begins at 10:45, although most people start arriving 10 to 15 minutes early for an opportunity to meet and greet in the auditorium. Although our services vary Sunday to Sunday we will often jump right into a song of worship followed by a brief welcome and an opportunity to greet our guests. The rest of our service is a combination of worship and preaching, most often from our pastor Scott Bates.

Toward the end of the service we will pass an offering plate around to collect tithes and offerings. We do not expect or ask guests to contribute to the finances of our church. All we do ask is that you fill out the visitor card attached to the bulletin and drop it in the offering plate. If this is your first time to visit us here at Emmanuel then we have a free gift for you and some information about that church that we would like to give you. Simply exit out the main entrance after the service is over and take a moment to meet pastor Scott.
